It's already 9:00am and you're in your car frantically trying to make it to Sunday's Service. Calm down, it's going to be fine if you're a little late. Take your time finding a parking space. When you enter the Narthex on the East side of the Sanctuary, Ushers and Deacons will be there to assist you with what ever you need, and help find a good time to take a seat.
Should I take Communion?
The first sunday of every month Zion celebrates Holy Communion. At Zion all are welcome to the table to recieve the body and blood of Christ. Communion is celebrated by Intiction and Pew Communion altering every other month. The Deacons and Ushers will assist you if you have any questions about what to do. If all else fails watch your neighbor.
The ultimate question... Well, at Zion the only person who can answer this question is you. Some folks like to dress up, and some like to keep it casual. What ever it is you wear, we want you to feel comfortable in God's house. So keep the stuffy shirts in closet if thats not your thing! We ask that you at least wear something... haha
An important part of Zion's mission is giving our tithes and offerings to God. While we welcome you to participate when the offering plate comes around, as a guest we Don't want you to feel any obligations toward giving. We're just happy that you are sharing your presence with us!
After our Sunday Service we have Coffee Hour on the Lower Level of our Educational Building. This area is known as Fellowship Hall. There will be punch, coffee, and various goodies to snack on while new friends talk and get to know one another. We love meeting new people and you will probably get invited to Coffee Hour quite a few times on Sunday.
