On November 6th, 2011 Zion's congregation enthusiastically voted that Ms. Wendy Bruner of St. Louis be Zion's next pastor.

Ms. Bruner’s pastoral profile provides this insight into her background which our committee believes will make her future ministry of value to all of us:

“I am a farm girl from Saskatchewan.  I was brought up in the Mennonite church and as such learned early in life about the importance of simple living, the centrality of the Bible with its vision of peace and justice (Micah 4:3-4), and the importance of service.  I was also raised to love music and it is here that I find hope and renewal in a sometimes despairing world.  Music provides an opportunity for the expression of the humorous and the heartbreaking realities of life while never letting go of the hope for what is possible.”
